The Adventure in Mission charity believes this development strategy will help poverty levels go down. · Water and sanitation projects: Adventure in Missions has teamed up with other organizations to bring clean water and sanitary conditions to the Honduras. · Construction: 100 million people in the world are currently homeless. Adventure in Missions identify Honduran community members in need and build homes for them. · Clinics: In third world countries, people often die of treatable illness. By providing critical medical resources and clinics, Adventure in Missions aims to change this. They also provide reading glasses for residents within the community. Readerwear in the Honduras Recently, Readerwear assisted in getting reading glasses to the Honduras through the Adventure in Missions charity. Readerwear was able to provide enough glasses to receive this feedback: · Nearly the entire inventory was distributed during the two week mission. · The remaining glasses will be distributed through permanent medical clinics in the Honduras. · Honduran residents appreciated the different style choices and quality Readerwear glasses offer. · For many, it had been years since they were able to read. · There were long lines of people everyday hoping to get glasses.
